Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Thread Mug. Since every product is made to order specifically for you, please read our shipping policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Processing Time

All Thread Mug products are printed and produced after your order is placed. Please allow:

  • Mugs: 2–4 business days production time
  • Blankets: 3–5 business days production time

Production time is separate from shipping time. Your order will ship once production is complete.

2. Shipping Times

Once your order has been produced and handed to the carrier, estimated delivery times are:

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur during peak seasons, holidays, or due to carrier conditions outside our control.

3. Shipping Rates

  • Standard Shipping: Calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination
  • Free Shipping: Available on orders over $90

4. Where We Ship

We currently ship to:

  • United States — all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii
  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • Australia

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.

6. Personalized Orders

Because every Thread Mug product is custom-made to your specifications, we begin production immediately after your order is confirmed. For this reason:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun
  • Shipping address changes must be requested within 24 hours of placing your order by contacting threadmug@gmail.com

7. Damaged or Lost Orders

If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost.

To report an issue please email threadmug@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A photo of the damaged item (if applicable)
  • A brief description of the issue

8. Incorrect Address

Thread Mug is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. If you notice an error, contact us immediately at threadmug@gmail.com.

9. Holiday Shipping

During peak holiday seasons, production and shipping times may be longer than usual. We recommend placing your order at least 2–3 weeks before your desired delivery date during the following periods:

  • Thanksgiving & Christmas (November – December)
  • Mother's Day (early May)
  • Father's Day (early June)
  • Valentine's Day (early February)

  • We offer a 14-day return policy for all unused items in their original packaging. Please contact our customer service team to initiate a return.


  • Simply enter your personalization details — such as a name, date, or short message in the text field on the product page before adding to cart. We'll print exactly what you enter in the same font, color, and style shown in the product.


  • Yes. For mugs we recommend a maximum of 15–20 characters and for blankets up to 25 characters for the best print result. Longer text may appear smaller to fit the design.


  • We'll place your text in the same location as shown in the product image, using the exact same font and design style. Names are automatically sized to fit perfectly whether short or long.

  • Our mugs are ceramic with vibrant, long-lasting print. Our blankets are made from soft, premium woven fabric designed to maintain color and texture through regular washing.

  • We aim to match the product images as closely as possible. However, slight variations may occur due to screen display settings and the printing process.

  • We offer a full refund or free replacement within 45 days of delivery. No return shipping is required.

  • Please email threadmug@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the damaged item. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you
